The first civilization
Billions of years before the development of the human race, before the formation of the Earth itself and hundreds of light years from the Solar System, an ancient civilization thrived. They were the Hyperboreans.

The civilization of the Hyperboreans, lasting billions of years, reached a remarkable level of evolution, on all fronts, both socially and, above all, technologically. In particular, the Hyperboreans developed a material with a cellular composition that allowed them to overcome aging, so ductile that it could also be used for the construction of buildings and vehicles. To respond to the overpopulation of their home planet, they studied the Universe and started a massive space program for the discovery of new worlds, reaching as far as Earth. Yet, all of a sudden, they disappeared.

A majestic civilization from the past was completely erased from the entire Universe.

A strange discovery
The centuries pass, until we reach contemporary history.
Indeed, it was in the early 1950s that a team of scientists in Antarctica, while drilling a core, discovered a rock with remarkable characteristics: it was precisely the ancient material the Hyperboreans had invented for construction and to prevent themselves from aging. But despite the rock's study by NASA's most brilliant minds, only a few of its characteristics were discovered. Its ductility, in particular, was evident, enough to spark a conflict between the two superpowers of the time, the USA and the USSR, over the discovery of larger supplies.

A Not Very Cold War
What is called Bionium , because of its cellular composition, then becomes the most sought after material on the planet. But on the planet, of that material, there is no trace .

The Americans, however, go further.
With the Apollo program, they reach the Moon and there find reserves of Bionium, which they immediately think they can convert into a weapon to use against the Soviets.
Soon, however, they too reach the Moon and on it the war that the two superpowers refrain from fighting on Earth materializes.

The battles become extremely bloody and develop throughout the Solar System.

When, suddenly, they stop.

When hostilities ended, the U.S. and Soviet space armies joined together in a body that was subordinate to the United Nations: the UNSPF (United Nations Space Protection Force).

The UNSPF has the mandate to restore order to the Solar System, advance the study of Bionium, and, when the world is ready, reveal its existence to the people of Earth.

But it is precisely when peace reigns in the Solar System that a peripheral base is attacked by a mysterious enemy, which has origins in the past history.
